The award recognizes Rad-87's excellence in medical technology engineering and design as an intuitive bedside patient monitor that helps improve clinical efficiency and keep patients safe when a clinician can't be at the bedside.

Pulse CO-Oximetry for continuous monitoring of hemoglobin, carbon monoxide, methemoglobin, PVI (fluid responsiveness), perfusion index, and measure through motion pulse oximetry with upgradability to acoustic respiration rate monitoring.  Its built-in 802.11a/b/g radio allows wireless communication with the Masimo Patient SafetyNet remote monitoring and clinician notification system to provide patients with an enhanced level of safety on general care floors.
