The Prima 451 MRI Anaesthetic Machine has been approved for use with MRI Systems rated from 0.55 to 7 Tesla from the world’s largest scanner manufacturers
The Prima 451 MRI Anaesthetic Machine has been tested and approved for compatibility by Siemens Healthcare, GE Healthcare, Philips and United Imaging for use with their MRI Systems rated from 0.55 to 7 Tesla.
The Prima 451 MRI has recently completed testing with Siemens Healthcare (0.55, 1.5, 3 and 7 Tesla) and United Imaging (1.5, 3 and 5 Tesla) and alongside the previous testing with Philips (1.5 and 3 Tesla) and GE Healthcare (1.5 and 3 Tesla) means clinicians can be confident that using the Prima 451 MRI up to the 1000 Gauss line* will be safe and the images free from artifacts.
Paul Merrick, Penlon’s Head of Engineering, said:
"Diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging is an essential tool for clinicians, and 7 Tesla scanners add additional demands to an already challenging environment. These approvals from some of the most well-known MRI magnetic manufacturers is further testament to the quality of our design and manufacturing facilities in the UK, that produce an anaesthetic machine capable of performing at the highest level."
The Prima 451 MRI anaesthetic machine is designed, manufactured and fully supported from Penlon’s global headquarters in Oxfordshire, UK. With units installed across the globe and unrivalled levels of compatibility with major MRI scanner manufacturers, Penlon is the de facto standard for MRI anaesthetic machines in the global healthcare market.
